Microwave Vulcanization Oven for EPDM Sealing Strip
This microwave vulcanization tunnel is the core equipment of continuous EPDM weatherstrip extrusion line, adopting microwave + hot air combined vulcanization technology, widely used for automotive, construction and railway EPDM solid, sponge and tri-extrusion sealing profiles.
Working Principle
Adopting industrial 2450MHz microwave dielectric heating. Microwave penetrates into EPDM profile directly; polar molecules inside rubber vibrate rapidly under alternating electromagnetic field and generate heat from inside out simultaneously. The rubber reaches vulcanization temperature in a short time for cross-linking reaction. The microwave section rapidly heats and pre-vulcanizes the profile, while the following hot air tunnel keeps constant temperature to complete full curing, avoiding uneven curing such as under-cure.
Main Structure
Microwave resonant cavity, magnetron & waveguide assembly, circulator water load, anti-leakage choke system, high temperature conveyor belt, hot air circulating heating unit, PLC control system with multi-zone temperature & power adjustment.
